Buvik Songlag is a mixed choir from the small town Buvika in Norway, just

outside of Trondheim. The choir consists of 24 members in the age range 24

to 52, so it's a small and young choir. We practice every Wednesday evening,

the highlight of the week and arrange concerts throughout the year. Our

annual Christmas concert is an important tradition for us and the community of

Buvika. The choir is very active, and we like to travel to participate in choir

arrangements and to be social together. We like to sing both traditional and

modern music, some of our favourite music to sing is from Pentatonix and

musicals such as Phantom Of The Opera, The Greatest Showman and Lès

Miserables.

This year the choir celebrates its 80-year anniversary, and to celebrate

ourselves we are arranging a big anniversary concert where we invite former

members to join us. A week after the concert we are traveling to Edinburgh to

experience the city together, and to hold a concert in St. Giles’ Cathedral. We

are very much looking forward to making new memories together.
